Oaklyn, a newly constructed 11-story mixed-use tower located in the Fort Lauderdale suburb of Oakland Park, officially opened its doors to residents in September after receiving its temporary certificate of occupancy on September 15. To commemorate this milestone, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on September 27, attended by developers, industry professionals, and residents.
Situated at 3333 North Federal Highway, Oaklyn offers a range of apartment units, from studios to two bedrooms. All units feature modern amenities, including Italian-inspired cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and quartz countertops. The interior design of the building was overseen by Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design, with First Florida serving as the general contractor.
Koby Assaraf, principal at Newrock Partners, the developer behind Oaklyn, expressed the goal of creating an urban, walkable environment that still exudes a sense of suburban warmth. He noted that the project began with a dated office complex with surface parking and evolved into a vibrant campus.
A notable feature of Oaklyn is its collection of large-scale murals created by local artists, including Daniel Fila, the founder of Krave Art, and his group of commissioned artists. These art installations adorn both the interior and exterior of the building.
Residents at Oaklyn can enjoy a variety of amenities, including Oak Three, an indoor/outdoor rooftop lounge equipped with an entertainment kitchen, communal games, a pool deck with a hot tub, grilling stations, and day beds. The pet-friendly development also boasts a pet spa and an indoor/outdoor fitness center.
In addition to its residential spaces, Oaklyn will house a range of businesses, including restaurants, gyms, and offices.
Leasing and property management for Oaklyn will be overseen by Bozzuto.
