Breaking Records: A Look at the Multimillion-Dollar Deal for David and Victoria Beckham’s Miami Beach Residence

David and Victoria Beckham’s potential acquisition of a stunning waterfront estate in Miami Beach, listed for $80 million, has taken the spotlight in last week’s signed contracts report. The high-profile couple is in the process of purchasing a 14,270-square-foot, nine-bedroom spec mansion located at 4736 North Bay Road from developer Niklas de la Motte, as previously reported by The Real Deal. The luxurious property features nine bathrooms, four half-bathrooms, a gym, a spa, and a home theater, and is either nearly finished or just completed. The listing agent for this impressive estate is Dora Puig of Luxe Living Realty.

This transaction is part of a broader trend, as the Eklund-Gomes signed contracts report noted a total of 11 contracts recorded in the Multiple Listing Service between September 23 and September 29. The combined asking price for these properties exceeds $142.6 million, including 10 single-family homes and one luxury condo.

Among these, the only condo featured is unit 901 at Jade Signature, located at 16901 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach. This 2,980-square-foot, four-bedroom unit is on the market for $5.3 million, represented by Marcelo Violland of Prime International Associates. The corner condo, which has five and a half bathrooms, has been utilized solely as a vacation home, never rented out. Its asking price translates to over $1,760 per square foot.

The single-family homes that secured contracts last week had an average asking price of around $13.7 million and remained on the market for an average of 165 days, totaling $137.3 million in asking price. In the previous week, buyers in Miami-Dade County also signed contracts for 11 properties with a combined asking price of $104 million.

Meanwhile, in New York, 18 homes were contracted last week with a collective asking price of nearly $139 million, as reported in the latest Olshan report. These homes spent an average of 628 days on the market. The Eklund-Gomes reports are modeled after Donna Olshan’s report, which tracks new deals in Manhattan.
