Miami Beach’s iconic Lincoln Road, known for its outdoor shopping and dining, is set to welcome five new tenants by the end of October. These additions will join the existing 200 shops, galleries, and restaurants that line the eight blocks of Lincoln Road. The promenade attracts a diverse mix of locals and international tourists, drawing in an impressive 8 million visitors annually.
Stephen Bittel, president of Terranova Corp., which owns multiple properties along this renowned corridor, expressed excitement about the incoming retailers.
The five new tenants are:
- HOKA: An international footwear brand, joining the ranks of Nike and Adidas sneaker stores on Lincoln Road.
- Luli Fama: A South Florida-based retailer known for its luxury women’s swimwear.
- IT’SUGAR: Offering an “immersive candy experience” with a store featuring hundreds of different candies.
- IT Italian Trattoria: The lone restaurant in this group, offering an open kitchen for diners to witness their food being prepared using ingredients from Italy.
- Turkish Delight: Opening its first U.S. location, this store will feature desserts and treats sourced from Turkey.
Holly Cohen, a Miami-based retail development adviser, highlighted the need for better collaboration among the various property owners on Lincoln Road for all tenants to thrive. She noted that the challenge lies in the fact that there are multiple owners of different buildings, as opposed to a single entity like a traditional mall owner.
Cohen also emphasized the importance of engaging local residents to further bolster Lincoln Road’s status as a premier shopping and dining destination. She pointed to the success of Lincoln Road restaurant Mila, which has gained popularity among South Florida residents.
One such local resident, Jonathan Schwartz, Vice President of Real Estate and Business Development for IT’SUGAR, sees the new Lincoln Road location as a place where families and children can create lasting memories, much like he did growing up. He fondly recalls Lincoln Road as a source of entertainment during his childhood and is excited to contribute to that legacy through his brand.
