New Lease Additions in Miami: Exciting Restaurant Openings and Tenant Success for Major Office Buildings

The h.wood Group, headquartered in Los Angeles, has secured a lease for 10,700 square feet at 801 Brickell Bay Drive in Miami. In December, they are set to unveil Delilah Miami, complete with a charming terrace that overlooks Brickell Bay. The company, led by John Terzian and Brian Toll since its establishment in 2008, already operates Delilah restaurants in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Cactus Club Cafe, hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, is making its Florida debut at Citigroup Center in downtown Miami. Spanning 10,000 square feet within the office tower at 201 South Biscayne Boulevard, the space encompasses both indoor and outdoor dining areas, along with a lounge. The culinary team at Test Kitchen takes the lead at Cactus Club Cafe, with Andrew Latchford serving as president.

Vertical’s Lyle Stern and Sara Wolfe acted on behalf of the landlords, while Brand Urban’s Taryn Brandes and Emily Green represented the tenant. The 34-story Citigroup Center is owned by CP Group (formerly Crocker Partners), Monarch Alternative Capital, and Tourmaline Capital Partners.

CGI Merchant, headed by Raoul Thomas, a real estate investment manager with a $500 million asset portfolio, has sealed four office leases totaling nearly 13,000 square feet in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood. Among these, Wrap Technologies, a global public safety technology and services firm based in Tempe, Arizona, secured 4,500 square feet at 3480 Main Highway. While the other newly signed tenants, comprising two hedge funds and a private equity firm, remain undisclosed. CGI was represented by Stephen Rutchik and Tyler de la Peña of Colliers in these transactions. Their headquarters are located at 3480 Main Highway.
